The mysterious “mailbox in the middle of nowhere”, about 19 miles from Rachel, Nevada along the E.T. Highway, is no more. We stopped there on a recent trip to Las Vegas, and all that remains is the spot where the mailbox stood and the long mailbox road leading into the hills (Area 51?). At least we got a picture of it last year, before the removal.
